For me it has to be Lancashire. Whether the umpires made the correct decision or the players should have put on some form of entertainment is another argument for another day.

Lancashire had a responsibility to provide conditions fit to play top level international cricket and they failed miserably. T20 is a multi-million pound industry now, not just a jolly up to be played in any conditions.

Jim Cumbes was moaning afterwards and seemed to have not realised Lancashire's responsibility, instead claiming if they had been playing Yorkshire in a county match the game would have gone ahead.

His excuses were amazing! If I was a Lancashire CCC member or fan and watched him say that Lancashire haven't been damaged by this (as he did on Sky Sports) and to also claim that the drainage system had worked and that the covers where adequate I would now be wondering if the man is fit to carry on in his job as he seems totally unable to grasp the significance of what has happened, there just seemed to be a ' its not our fault' attitude from him.

Everyone rightly panned West Indies Cricket Board after the Sir Viv Richards stadium farce earlier this year and this is no different, the buck stops with Lancashire or/and Cumbes for me.
