Foster proves a point
Two brilliant stumpings in two days, and James Foster has vindicated his selection for the ICC World Twenty20. England may finally have learnt the value of having a top-quality specialist wicketkeeper in their lineup after years of fiddling about with batsmen who keep wicket.
Whilst England lost to West Indies today, his stumping of Yuvraj against India was the key moment of the match, with the batsman looking dangerous and with a history of destroying England in the past.
It is unlikely this will change the selectors thinking for the test side in the short-term, but Foster has surely cemented his place in the short format.
