BCCI offers olive branch to ICL players

The BCCI has announced that players who are willing to cut their ties with the unofficial Indian Cricket League will be welcomed back to domestic, and later international, cricket.

If this signals a toning down of the bullying tactics that have been used in the past to secure a virtual monopoly for the official IPL, then so much the better.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether the players will be willing to meet their wishes.
